Prof. Timur Sh. Atabaev Nazarbayev University, Kazakhstan
Biography: Dr. Timur Sh. Atabaev obtained his Ph.D. degree in the area of nanotechnology from Pusan National University, South Korea (2012) and then worked as a Research Professor at Seoul National University, South Korea. In 2017 he moved to Nazarbayev University as an Assistant Professor in Chemistry. He has delivered several invited talks and served as a committee member for numerous international meetings. He has authored and co-authored over 50 peer-reviewed papers, 3 book chapters, and 1 patent. His research interests are mainly focused on the synthesis and characterization of multifunctional inorganic nanostructures for biomedical, optical, energy, sensing and photocatalytic applications.
