Biography: 
Gang Zhang is Fellow of Institute of Physics, United Kingdom. He obtained B. Sci and Ph. D. in physics at Tsinghua University in 1998 and 2002, respectively. He is currently a senior scientist and capability group manager in Institute of High Performance Computing (IHPC), A*STAR, Singapore, which he joined in February 2013. Prior to his joining IHPC, he was a professor at Department of Electronics, Peking University. His has ground breaking contribution in nanoscale thermal conduction and various applications of nano materials. He has published more than 280 referred papers, with citations over 21,000 and an h-index of 75. He was awarded the Highly Impacted Paper Award by Chinese Physical Society in 2020, Excellence Award in Computational Physics by Chinese Physical Society 2012 Autumn Meeting, and Singapore Millennium Foundation Fellowship (2002-2004). He serves as advisory board member of Nanoscale and Nanoscale Advances, advisory board member of ES Energy & Environment, technical committee member of IEDM, associate editor of Journal of Electronic Materials, associate editor of Frontiers in Physics, guest editor of Advanced Functional Materials, guest editor of Science China, guest editor of Chinese Physics B and editorial board member of Scientific Reports.
