Corneliu Doroftei received his PhD degree in solid state physics from Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Romania, in 2008. His post-graduate research involves the study on the structure, morphology, electric, magnetic and catalytic properties of oxide compounds (type structure: spinel, perovskite and hexagonal). He was also studying humidity and gas sensors. Currently he is Researcher at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Romania.
